Set in a lovely East Northamptonshire market town you will find the Bridge Hotel, Thrapston. On the 18th September 2011 this will be the venue for a one day Steiff Event "All for the Love of a Bear..." hosted by Bears to Collect.

Our special guest will be Ian Munro from Steiff, who will be making a presentation on Steiff History and the making of a Steiff Bear - who better to learn from than the experts?? Ian will also be revealing the very latest collection of Steiff Limited Editions for Autumn 2011.

Included in the day will be a free raffle and a buffet style lunch where there will be opportunity to mingle with like-minded collectors, all in the traditional setting of the Bridge Hotel.

Entry is by advance ticket only [£5] and numbers are strictly limited. For early birds booking by 31st July, the ticket will also include a £10 shopping voucher valid for purchases on the day.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new Kaycee Bears Collection for 2011 including Kelsey Cunningham's first mohair collection.

As we have come to know from Kelsey, all are stunning and have the kind of appeal that tugs at the heart strings. As you would expect, there are plenty of rabbits and bears in the collection, but also dogs and cats which are particularly realistic. If you have a Persian cat, then Mr MISTOFFOLEES is a MUST HAVE!! This year Steiff are supporting BBC Children in Need whose mission is to make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and people across the UK.

Pudsey made his television debut in 1985 when Sir Terry Wogan introduced the new born, brown cuddly mascot to the audience. He proved very popular and returned as BBC Children in Need's offical logo the following year, with his 2007 revamp giving Pudsey a fresh new look and brighter colours and this year Steiff have produced their own version!

Pudsey is a limited edition of only 2,009 pieces and £30 from each sale goes to the Children in Need charity. He is made from yellow mohair, 30cm tall and wears his distinctive bandana.

Here we have the cover bear from the 2007 catalogue - one of the most popular pieces of the year - and we have just one become available!!

This bear has been faithfully recreated from an original 1907 design, which currently resides in the Steiff museum in Giengen, Germany. He is 45 cm tall, made from blonde mohair with traditional boot button eyes and wood shaving stuffing. He is a limited edition of just 1907 pieces worldwide.

Charlie Bears Isabelle Collection - Liquorice Back in Stock!

Great News! We have just secured a small number of the Charlie Bears Isabelle Collection Bear - Liquorice - which previously sold out almost immediately.

Liquorice is the perfect name for this bear! He is 13" tall and made from rich charcoal alpaca - just the colour of liquorice. He has sculptured paws, an aubergine stitched nose and a heart shaped cord necklace. He is a limited edition of just 200 worldwide. We don't expect our additional stocks to be here very long!!

Deb Canham Club Year to end Soon !!

Just a reminder that the Deb Canham Club Year 9 Membership ends on 31st May, so any orders for Year 9 Club pieces have to be in by then - so hurry if you want to secure any of "Clayton Dragon" , "Top & Bottom" , "Little Blessings", "Sir Thomas Tom" , "Rosie Posie" and "Precious".

Club Year 10 will begin on 1st June 2008 and information will be available from the end of May. Deb has already announced that Year 10 will be a very special year, so look out for lots of exciting pieces.

We have just heard that the Club bear this year is to be a 3.5" Flump Dumpy style bear called Dixon and for those that sign up before July 31st, there will be a surprise additional free mohair piece. New membership costs £35 and renewals are £32. In addition to the wonderful free bears, one of the key benefits of membership is to hear first hand from Deb through her Doodle newsletter and to have the opportunity to buy exclusive members only pieces and attend members only events.
